ई सिम का फुल फॉर्म इंबेडेड सब्सक्राइबर आइडेंटिटी मॉड्यूल है जो आपके फोन, स्मार्टवॉच या टैबलेट में इंबेड होती है। ई सिम को दूसरी सिम कार्ड की तरह फोन में नहीं डाला जा सकता है। कंपनी फोन की मैन्युफैक्चरिंग करते ही ई सिम को प्रोग्राम करती है। इस सिम का यह फायदा है कि इसे फिजिकल तौर पर डैमेज नहीं किया जा सकता है। इसके इस्तेमाल के बाद आप को कई फिजिकल कार्ड रखने की जरूरत नहीं होती है।
