आम सुझावों और लॉ कमीशन की सिफारिश के आधार पर UCC टेम्पलेट तैयार किए गए हैं। इसके मुताबिक देश में UCC लागू हुआ तो यह 13 कानून प्रभावित होंगे। इनमें शादी की उम्र, विवाह रजिस्ट्रेशन, बहुविवाह पर रोक, हलाला और इद्दत खत्म, तलाक के नियम, भरण-पोषण, सास-ससुर की देखरेख, गोद लेने का अधिकार, बच्चों की देखरेख, उत्तराधिकार कानून, जनसंख्या नियंत्रण, बच्चों की कस्टडी और लिव-इन-रिलेशनशिप शामिल हैं।
These laws will change if the UCC comes into force
UCC templates have been prepared based on common suggestions and Law Commission recommendation. According to it, if the UCC is implemented in the country, these 13 laws will be affected. These include marriage age, marriage registration, prohibition of polygamy, halal and iddat abolition, divorce rules, maintenance, in-law custody, right to adoption, child custody, succession law, population control, child custody and Live-in relationships are included.
