सहमति से संबंध बनाने की आयु 18 से घटकर 16 वर्ष हो: HC

जबलपुर हाई कोर्ट की ग्वालियर बेंच ने सहमति से संबंध बनाने की आयु सीमा 18 से घटाकर 16 वर्ष करने का अनुरोध किया है। HC ने कहा- इंटरनेट युग में बच्चे 14 साल में ही जवान हो जा रहे हैं। सहमति से संबंध बनाने की उम्र 16 वर्ष हो । युवा आकर्षित होकर सहमति से बनाते हैं संबंध, ऐसे मामले में युवा कतई आरोपी नहीं है। केंद्र सरकार से अनुरोध है कि सहमति से संबंध बनाने की उम्र को 18 से घटाकर 16 वर्ष किया जाए।

Lower the age of consensual sex from 18 to 16: HC

The Gwalior Bench of Jabalpur High Court has requested to reduce the age limit for consensual relationship from 18 to 16 years. HC said- In the internet era, children are becoming young in 14 years itself. The age of consensual relationship should be 16 years. Youth get attracted and make relations with consent, in such a case the youth is not at all an accused. The Central Government is requested to reduce the age of consensual sex from 18 to 16 years.
