UP के प्रयागराज में पार्षद प्रत्याशी रहे राजकुमार रज्जू ने अतीक अहमद को भारत रत्न देने की मांग की थी। इसका वीडियो वायरल होने पर कांग्रेस ने उसे 6 साल के लिए पार्टी से निष्कासित कर दिया। इसके बाद रज्जू ने अतीक की कब्र पर पहुंचकर अतीक अहमद अमर रहे के नारे लगाते हुए तिरंगा चढ़ाया। इस मामले में पुलिस ने रज्जू को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। किसी अपराधी को तिरंगा चढ़ाना राष्ट्रीय ध्वज का अपमान माना जाता है।

After this, Rajju reached Atiq’s grave and hoisted the tricolor while shouting slogans of Atiq Ahmed Amar Rahe. Rajju has been arrested by the police in this case. Offering the tricolor to a criminal is considered an insult to the national flag.
